Renuma Lu Farm has been a great experience for my family, my kids especially. They love Farm Fun Friday when we go to the farm on the way home to get our eggs. My 4 year old loves to collect the eggs from the chicken coop and the other various places that you find eggs around the farm. It is a blessing to be able to call this family our friends. They have invited us to share in their wonderful environment and everything they are growing, when we drive by my little guy will ask if we can go to the farm. He loves playing with the baby animals and “softing” the animals (for those that do not speak toddler, this is petting). The farm is full of love and new experiences and they are so welcoming. It is great for my children and we are so happy that they are here.

Jon and Jessica Burt of Renuma Lu Farm brought their vision to life with a farm that is designed to teach today’s youth a variety of important life skills. At Renuma Lu Farm, kids of all ages can learn about skills anywhere from identifying whether to approach an animal to composting, to more social skills like learning how to find and cultivate common interests with others. I take my client to Renuma Lu Farm and he loves it. My client chooses to attend Renuma Lu as his reward for good behavior because it is such a warm and friendly environment. He gets a lot of satisfaction from actively participating in Renuma’s efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Renuma has created a space for building relationships, learning new skills, and connecting with nature. It has been awesome to see which activities my client gravitates towards and how they are excited to come back each week to either check on a new farm animal or to help with collecting eggs, or simply to just get their hands messy. The farm has provided a fun and engaging way to provide therapy to my client.
